Ladybug Birthday

Planning a ladybug-themed party for a group of children isn’t difficult. In fact, it can actually be a great deal of fun! There is an abundance of party supplies available for this theme. Create your own Ladybug Birthday Invitations

Like stated earlier, creating your own unique invitations is a great way to get into the mood for your child’s party. Make oval shapes from red construction paper like we talked about earlier. Get black construction paper and cut little dots out for the ladybug. Or you can get a black permanent marker and dot the ladybug. Inside the card print your party details such as location, time, date and your RSVP date. Send these invitations out early, at least 2 weeks before the party. Many families are busy and may not get a chance to read the invitation for a week. If you are worried about how many people you can handle, a good number to start off with is 5. If the party goes well this year then you can increase the amount.

Get the right Ladybug Birthday Cake

You can make your own cake or go to the bakery and have one made. So pick whichever you prefer. Both will be just as good. What is important though, is keeping your cake ladybug themed. If you do make your own cake you should cover it with red icing and sprinkle chocolate (M&M’s or chocolate chips) and liquorice on top for dots.

Decorate for your party

A party isn’t a party until you have all the right decorations. You need to regular balloons, banners and streams to get the party feel. Picking black, red and green colors is your best bet because are associated with ladybugs. Remember you want your party to stand out and be one that you remember for years. Anything you can think of that is ladybug related should be added to your party’s décor. The dollar store is a great place to find props for your party and reap the savings at the same time.

Find the right Ladybug Birthday Treats

Make ladybug cupcakes. These will be a huge hit. Cover cupcakes with red icing and top them off with chocolate chips. These are delicious and very cute. Cookies are also a great idea. You can find red sprinkle sugar to coat your cookies with. Finish them off with some sprinkled chocolate.
